Frequently Asked Questions

1. What kind of dryers do you use?
We hand-dry every pet using a high-velocity dryer. If your pet is not cooperative, we use a combination of towel drying, stand drying, and floor fans. All crates are open and allow for proper airflow.

2. Will my dog be put in a cage?
Yes, all dogs not currently being worked on are safely housed in individual crates. Soft bedding is provided to keep your pet comfortable.
If your dog is not crate trained or may harm itself while crated, you’ll be required to pick up your pet immediately after grooming (this is considered an express service, and an additional fee applies).

3. Do I need to provide shot records?
Vaccinations are a matter between you and your veterinarian. However, pets showing signs of illness may be rescheduled until cleared by a vet.
Please note that Bordetella and canine influenza vaccines cover only limited strains. Vaccinated dogs can still contract illnesses. We are not responsible for any illness resulting from insufficient vaccinations.

4. How young is too young for grooming my puppy?
Puppies should be introduced to grooming as early as possible. Begin at home by handling their entire body—face, feet, and even the rear.
Once your puppy has received their first two sets of vaccinations, we recommend starting professional grooming to build positive experiences early.

5. How often should my dog’s nails be trimmed?
A general rule is every 4 weeks. Dogs who walk frequently may need trims less often, while others may require nail trimming as often as weekly.

6. Do you take walk-in appointments?
We do not accept walk-in appointments for grooming or bathing. However, nail trims do not require an appointment.

7. Can my dog get a haircut without a bath?
No, we require a full bath and dry for haircuts to ensure a smooth and even finish. Grooming dirty or improperly prepared coats damages our equipment.
Exceptions may be made for senior dogs already in our client base, where alternatives can be discussed.

8. Will my dog play with other dogs during their stay?
No. All dogs are housed individually and do not interact with other pets while in our care.

9. Do you use any harsh chemicals on my dog?
No. All of our grooming products are clean, gentle, and made with natural ingredients.

10. What is your cancellation policy?
Please respect our time. We request that you cancel or reschedule appointments at least 48 hours in advance.
Repeat no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.
